Getting from the Airport

Ironbridge and Telford are approximately 45 miles from Birmingham International Airport. There are a few different options to get from the airport to your hotel.

By rail

The station for the airport is called Birmingham International. The closest train station to the conference venue and many of the local hotels is Telford Central.

The cost of a single ticket from Birmingham International to Telford is between £11.50 and £13.90 depending on the time of day (peak or off peak)

By coach

Coaches can be booked from the Airport to over 35 main towns and cities across the UK. Coaches are a cheap way to travel, but can take longer than the train. By taxi

Licensed Black Cabs operate a 24-hour, 365 day service from directly outside the arrivals area of the terminal building. Each taxi can carry up to five passengers (some can carry up to eight), with luggage and all are able to take wheelchair passengers. A customer services representative is available at the taxi rank to assist passengers with their taxi journey.

Depending on the time of day, a taxi from Birmingham Airport to Telford will cost approximately £40 to £55.
